It was the absolutely perfect spring evening at the beach! I first met up with Megan and Trevor in St. Pete, we walked around the area near Green Bench Brewing, but it was so crowded! I mean, the weather was perfect so it wasn’t all to surprising.

We decided to bail on downtown St. Pete and headed over to the beautiful Fort Desoto State Park. I think I’ve decided that Fort Desoto is my favorite beach to shoot at. There are far less people, the nature feels untouched and if the clouds are in your favor, you have the best light during golden hour. Holy moly did we luck out on the light at the beach this day!

I did this engagement session back in early March and 7 months later can say that I’m still so into the images that came out of this session. The chemistry between Megan and Trevor is absolutely undeniable. These two just simply know how to have a good time together and it really shines through in their photos. I also brought along one of my film cameras, so there will be some photos on film sprinkled throughout this post as well!

Shortly after our engagement session, Megan found out her and Trevor were expecting a baby! I photographed their wedding in St. Pete beach this past summer, Megan was GLOWING and rocking look that felt inspired by a vintage Hollywood vibe. I cannot wait to see these two move into parenthood soon, they are going to be naturals and their baby will have the coolest parents. For now, here’s mom and dad to be’s engagement session!
