Back in November I had the opportunity to work with the incredibly talented Renee Nicole Photography from Tampa, FL. She reached out to me saying she had wedding in Lakeland happening right in the middle of Kentucky Avenue. A wedding ceremony taking place in the middle of one of our downtown streets?! If getting to work under Renee wasn’t enough second shooting a wedding in a super cool and unique location had me sold. Let me tell you, it was every bit cool as I thought it would be. In fact the whole day was pretty amazing.

Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready in Sarah and now hubby Joe’s house. Their house is full of character and had fantastic natural light pouring into each room. We took photos of the wedding party at 801 E. Main, which is always a great idea. That space is easily one of the coolest in Lakeland, I love any opportunity I have to photograph there. Overall I think what made the day most spectacular was the finger prints of Ashton Events on the wedding day. Laura Helm and her team always do the best job and this wedding was no exception. At the time, Ashton Events was still based out of Catapult Lakeland, where I work. I remember all throughout the week leading up to the wedding they were working hard to make sure everything was prepped and ready. Their hard work sure did pay off because between their decor and the paper goods made by the talented Emily Vila, the Walczak reception was beautiful. Seriously some of my most favorite detail shots I’ve gotten to take to this date! One last time I have to thank Renee for picking me to photograph with her for Sarah and Joe’s wedding.
