While it’s fun to photograph people you’ve known for awhile, I actually love getting brand new clients whom I’ve never met! It gives the opportunity to completely get to know someone from scratch. You have to learn everything about one another with no previous knowledge going into it. I love clients like this because I get to hear their love story from its most basic origins.

This was no exception for Allison and Bailey! I first met the pair over coffee and hot chocolate at Black and Brew in Lakeland. They shared with me how they met, what they are dreaming of for the wedding and their plans as newly weds. Let me be the first to say there are a lot of exciting things on the horizon for these two in marriage! Both Allison and Bailey are students at Florida Southern College here in Lakeland and will be graduating this upcoming May. Bailey will be going to seminary after graduation and is aspiring to one day be a pastor. Allison is hoping to blend her communications and business degree with a human resources position after graduation. The thing they are most looking forward to for their future? Getting married! A + B really love each other! I could see this through every glance into one another’s eyes, every embrace and laugh shared together through out their engagement shoot. It only made sense that we would take their engagement photos at the place where their love story began: Florida Southern College! The campus served as a beautiful and special backdrop for Allison and Bailey and I had so much fun getting to hang out with these two!

Allison and Bailey are saying “I do” this summer at Bailey’s home church in Largo, FL. I can’t wait to photograph this special day and implement all the photos they are dreaming about! It will be a special wedding for sure! Until then, here is a snapshot of their engagement shoot!
