Just before the world essentially ended I got an inquiry from Breeanna and Trey for their wedding. This wasn’t just any wedding inquiry though, for they were getting married at one of my “bucket list” venues: The Powel Crosley Estate. I was ecstatic about not only getting to shoot at this gorgeous bayside estate, but to also get to know Breeanna and Trey! I’m not kidding when I say “before the world ended,” I truly think we entered shutdown mode maybe 2 weeks after their engagement session? As I drove home from St. Cloud, FL that night I couldn’t help but think how beautiful and bubbly Breeanna is and how amazing their love story is. I feel like high school sweethearts are far and few in between these days, but not these two!
The wedding was just as beautiful I imagined it would be. Partnering along Laura from Milan Catering and the Sarasota Wedding Gallery, my second shooters Cole and Earnie from Werlostboys and John from Lens Culture Photography, we made a solid team together this day making sure all the pretty things were captured and all the love was documented.
We weren’t the only vendors, there were so many insanely talented vendors who were on this wedding team this day. The bouquets, drop dead gorgeous floral arch and all the beautiful tabletop decor was designed by Krissy from Isn’t She Lovely Florals. I was flabbergasted by what she put together so quickly and beautifully (on a crazy windy day, might I add). From the florals to the cake, Cakes by Ron crushed it again with an elegant, tiered, all white cake that everyone seemed to love. If it wasn’t the cake people were gobbling up, it was definitely Ron’s cupcakes. Even I indulged on a salted caramel one that was absolutely delicious!
Breeanna looked amazing all day long – her dress was beautiful and perfect for her in every way. Brides by Kelly Anne did a fantastic job on all the girls hair and make-up for this day!
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a true dance party at wedding reception – one where literally everyone is dancing. DJs from Grant Hemond and the Associates always know how to make a dance party happen. That paired with sparkler gun first dance and exit by Spark Wedding Events it was certainly a reception to remember.
At the end of the night, Breeanna and Trey climbed aboard Just Play’n where they popped champagne and waved goodbye to their loved ones as they sailed across the Sarasota Bay into their married life. This was truly a wedding day I’ll never forget, here are some of my favorite images from Breeanna and Trey’s Powel Crosley wedding day!
